Icebreaker is a young and innovative Wellington clothing manufacturing company who sell their products worldwide. The London ‘TOUCH_LAB_' is located on the third floor of Snow + Rock in Covent Garden.
A design was developed around the idea of a foreign insertion, a piece of New Zealand that has landed in an overseas context, like a container. The Icebreaker space is wrapped in a white plane, juxtaposed against the existing fabric. The carpet flows out of a New Zealand landscape and folds to become a bench seat serving the adjacent café beyond.
